I am wondering if each Apple symbol represent 1 store . In some areas such as California, there are so many stores and too many symbol overlapped to the point that I cannot really count and know the exact number of stores in this area. I do not think this symbol at this large scale area would work. If you zoomed to one state and represent the Apple stores in there it would

5- Oil Production and Consumption
This map looks so busy with all the text and information written. There is no need to add the table of the top producers and consumers as long as we use the graduate color and graduate coins to represent those texts. The goal of a map is to transform textual material into visual and aesthetic figure to make the issue of understanding those numbers more fun

I have a comment regarding the overlay of the circles of major slides. Always, place the darker belowe the lighter color symbols and for the dark circles use a light strok which gives you a sense of overlay. The precipitation legend is very large. If I were you I would make it horizontal and re-position it. Nice Job!

3- (Big 12 Annual Resident Tuition map) It looks good but sooo busy with the capital name, state names, colleges, major cities name, and the tuitions. I do not think there is need to mention the capital nor the states. Also since you have in your legend what indicates the amount of tuition related to the size of the symbol there is no need to add the exact amount with each university. The reader

It is interesting topic to map; however, I would select more exciting title to catch the reader’s attention and break it into Title and Subtitle.
